Water Injected Oil Free Compressor

Overview

Water-injected compressors spray clean water into the compression chamber. The water seals the gap between rotors (like oil does in standard machines), absorbs compression heat, and flushes out with the compressed air.

A water separation system downstream removes the water from the air. The water is then filtered, cooled, and recirculated. There is no oil anywhere in the air path.

Because water absorbs heat efficiently, discharge temperature stays below 45°C. This is significantly lower than dry oil-free compressors, which can discharge at 180°C or more, and it means less thermal stress on downstream equipment.

Single-Stage Compression

Water sealing allows full pressure in one stage. This reduces mechanical complexity compared to dry oil-free machines.

No Oil Disposal

There is no compressor oil to change, no oil filters to replace, and no waste oil to dispose of.

Low Operating Temperature

Water keeps everything cool. Rotor wear is reduced, and the air end lasts longer than in dry designs.
