Product Description

Many industrial processes only need 2 to 5 bar of air pressure. Using a standard 7-bar compressor and throttling it down wastes the energy spent compressing air to a pressure that isn't needed.

The low pressure screw compressor uses an air end specifically designed for lower compression ratios. The rotor profile, housing dimensions, and port timing are all optimized for the 2–5 bar range.

For cement plants using pneumatic conveying at 2.5 bar, or textile mills running air-jet looms at 4 bar, this machine delivers the required pressure with noticeably lower specific power consumption.

Purpose-Built Air End

The rotors and housing are designed for low compression ratios. They are not simply derated standard air ends.

Higher Volume at Same Power

At 3 bar, a 75kW low-pressure compressor delivers roughly twice the air volume of a 75kW standard-pressure compressor at 8 bar.

Pneumatic Conveying Ready

Output pressure is stable enough for powder and granule conveying systems used in cement, flour, and chemical processing.
