Compressed Air Line Filter & Oil-Water Separator

Inline filters remove solid particles, oil aerosols, and oil vapor from compressed air. Oil-water separators treat the condensate collected by dryers and filters so it can be discharged legally.

Product Description

Compressed air from a screw compressor typically contains oil aerosol (2–5 mg/m³), solid particles from the intake, and moisture. Filters installed in the airline progressively clean the air to the required quality level.

A typical installation uses a pre-filter (3 or 1 micron) to catch bulk particles and liquid, followed by a fine filter (0.01 micron) to remove oil aerosol, and optionally an activated carbon filter to adsorb oil vapor down to 0.003 mg/m³.

The condensate collected by dryers, filters, and receiver tanks is a mixture of water and compressor oil. Regulations in most countries prohibit draining this directly to sewer. An oil-water separator uses adsorption media or polypropylene membranes to separate the oil, producing clean water that can be discharged.

Differential Pressure Gauge

Differential Pressure Gauge

Each filter housing includes a gauge showing the pressure drop across the element. When the reading exceeds the limit, it is time to replace the element.

Auto Drain on Each Filter

Auto Drain on Each Filter

Every filter housing has a float-type auto drain to remove collected liquid continuously, preventing it from re-entering the air stream.

Environmental Compliance

Environmental Compliance

The oil-water separator reduces oil content in discharged condensate to below 15 mg/L, meeting discharge regulations in most jurisdictions.
