High Pressure Piston Compressor

Overview

Reaching 30–350 bar requires multiple stages of compression. Each stage uses a piston in a cylinder to raise the pressure. Between stages, an intercooler brings the temperature down before the next compression step.

For PET bottle blowing, the typical pressure is 30–40 bar. The compressor feeds a large receiver, and blow molding machines draw from it in bursts. The compressor runs steadily; the receiver handles the peaks.

For pressure testing and breathing air, pressures of 200–350 bar are common. These machines use 4 or 5 stages and are available with oil-free cylinders where air purity is critical.

PET Blow Molding Package

Models rated at 30–40 bar are packaged with an aftercooler, air receiver, and auto-drain specifically sized for PET blow molding line throughput.

Oil-Free Cylinder Option

PTFE piston rings and crosshead seals eliminate oil from the compressed air. Required for breathing air and medical applications.

Automatic Unloading

When the receiver reaches set pressure, the compressor unloads each stage sequentially. It reloads when pressure drops below the restart point.
